Anis, the magic finger teacher

In pursuing my untold desire, I asked anis hartini, the 'anis magic finger', whether I can join her baking and deco class this weekend. After much persuasion done to my hubby, the BM photographer a.k.a Kamarul Akhir, he finally agreed to babysit the children under my supervision (hahahha), for 5 hours.I don't want to say much because I have a lot of pictures that tells the story.

When we started the class, Azizi keeps on pointing this and that on Anis' cookie jar, (ish ... budak ni .... tak tahu malu.... coverlah sikit......) not to mention he even tried to give some to his papa.

The cupcakes

Mine - the 16 cupcakes on the right side cake board. The others belong to Mona, my coursemate.

A smiley with a flat head

That day, I made another batch of popcakes or cake pops with yellow colored white chocolate. Maybe I pushed the cake balls too hard that I flattened the head that was supposed to be round.because I want to make a smiley out of this batch, thus an experiment gone wrong.

The one I've made

As I promised earlier, this is the ones that I have made. I call it the Pinky Flower. The smaller are meant for samples and the big one is the real size. My husband has taken the photo of pink coating with black sugar, which I would like to call it : Pink & Punk. but I need to dig out all the photo he's taken in his laptop.... So Stay Tuned!

                       For this Pink & Punk and the Pinky Flower is RM25.00 a box of 25 cavities.

Thing You Should Know about Popcakes:

You don't have refrigerate but you do need to keep them away from heat as the coating will melt. By storing them in fridge will cause the popcakes to 'sweat' when taken out from fridge. The Popcakes will remain fresh up 2 weeks, if you can keep from eating them for that length of time.

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to All!
     I always love the idea of eating cake in bite size, so that I won't feel guilty at all eating a cake in a whole piece.
    Being inspired by bakerella...(I always follow her blog and others) and finally with practice (of course, practice makes perfect). I am introducing "Pidah Popcakes - Cake in Candy Way" .
